About Etwal Heritage

They say scent is the strongest link to memory. For me, memory starts with the sun.

I was born in Haiti. A place of vibrant colors and vitality that never dims. I can still smell the early mornings, that specific mix of salt air from the sea and the deep, earthy richness aroma of coffee brewing in our outdoor kitchen.

It wasn’t just a smell; it was a feeling of being home.

I miss home dearly. I miss the way the air feels at sunrise/sunset, the way flowers seem to smell sweeter just as the light shines in the morning and fades at sundown. There’s a specific beauty there that the world doesn’t always get to see.

When you’re away from the place that raised you, you search for ways to keep it alive. I started Etwal Heritage because I wanted to bridge that gap. I wanted to take those fragments of my heritage. The bravery, the sweetness, the resilience, the power of our people and bottle them.

Etwal Heritage is not simply about fragrance; it is a library of memories. With every scent becoming a new chapter in  the story I carry with me.

I realized that if I wanted the world to experience the Haiti that I know, I had to create a legacy of beauty that could travel. Fragrance doesn’t need a translator. It’s a language of the heart.

My hope is for Etwal Heritage to become a vessel of memory and hope. When someone wears one of our fragrances, I want them to feel the warm heart of the Caribbean on their skin. I want them to experience Haiti’s elegance, sensuality, and undeniable strength.

The Caribbean Morning is the first chapter, a tribute to the light, warmth, and memories that inspired this journey.

This is my tribute.

This is our legacy.
